When I first wrote my original “Why I Hate Blogs” for article submission I was pretty sure that the humor would get some hits but in my wildest dreams I never thought that out of the 26 articles I did write that it would be second in the amount of the hits it did get. Actually it was dark humor because I honestly do hate spending the time blogging away or let us be more specific – I honestly DID hate spending that time.
Just putting your blog online is not enough. After all, there are many millions of blogs on the web right now, so unless your blog is on a high-traffic site, you may not get readers unless you advertise. You can easily advertise your blog without spending a cent by mentioning your blog in your emails and web pages or newsletters. You can also enter in online competitions – if your blog wins a prize you are more likely to get a constant flow of traffic to your blog. You can also ask ezines and other content providers to review your blog, which will also draw readers.
But, personally, I have great success guest posting for other business blogs and I can attribute tens of thousands of dollars in revenue to this strategy. And this blog is all about sharing what can work, and allows you to make the decision to use or not to use. Sharing is caring.
Link your blog to your websites v.v. People often forget that it’s the linking that makes the Internet work. Linking all your sites, even the free ones, together can boost your link popularity. Since get inspired are a lot of fun you sometimes forget to link to and from them. Don’t let this happen to you.
Profiles are easy to access. You can browse sites, enter your search criteria, and begin taking a look at the type of people that match that search criteria. You can see photos, read about their interests, and maybe even see video clips. This is all available at the touch online blogs of your mouse. You can check these out in the private of your own home.
One main reason I say this is because any good blog that will help you indeed will have loads of great content to read. The other reason is that the person running the blog should not be too obsessed with cheesy graphics.
Don’t let anyone try to tell you that the bottom is falling out of web marketing. The awesome growth and popularity of Blogs shows that they could not be more wrong.
