Keeping That Work Out

Choosing to get healthy and start exercising is one thing, but to actually take up a plan is something very different. When I first decided to start out exercising, I attempted to explore both of my choices, which included taking a look at my nearby health clubs and looking to purchase equipment which I would use at home. The harder I thought about joining a health club, the less I desired to really take action. Being a working dad, I desired to do something in which I didn’t need to go out. Since I was just beginning using an exercise routine, I researched into obtaining a cheap treadmill. Now that I’ve had my treadmill for around half a year, I wanted to share with you the advantages that I’ve experienced since my purchase.

Most of the time people Join my network sorely to loose wait and as soon as they begin seeing results they loose the motivation to put in as much effort as they did when they first began. If you want to loose weight, create an initial plan that will most likely be more aggressive and once you achieve your optimum weight, create a new plan that will help you sustain your optimum weight. A long term plan should be moderate and that is why most physical fitness experts advice that at least 3 days of exercise for a duration of 30 min to an hour in each session, is good enough. If you have the energy, drive and time to work out 5 to 6 days a week, that is fine too.

Have you workout methods ever known someone who met a person they initially didn’t like only to fall madly in love with them once they got to know them? Maybe you were that person and you laugh thinking about the time you said you’d NEVER give Bill/Tom/Bob the time of day. But you did, and now you’re beyond happily married to him and can’t imagine your life without him. It’s the same with exercise. It grows on you (as you grow smaller) and eventually gets you hooked. The only caveat is you have to give it time and consistency.

Don’t get me wrong, working out is important and can be very beneficial, but not if your cup is almost full from everything else. Also, the type of exercising you’re doing is extremely important. Cardiovascular exercise is so over abused these days due to marketing and false information; people are doing more harm than good. Just think about it… if you jump on the treadmill and run for 45 minutes, you are putting 45 minutes of stress on your body. But if you go to the weight section and do a typical 4 sets of 10 with 4 exercises (depending of your rest and tempo), you are only doing about 15-20 minutes worth of work, therefore putting a lot less stress on the body and also increasing your anabolic hormones in the process.

Understand your body and don’t focus on the other people in the gym. Instead focus on you. How high can you kick without tearing a muscle? It might not be high as others but what’s the impact? Don’t beat yourself up if you are the only one who can’t do 50 sit-ups in a row. Focus on how many you are able to do at a time and the impact they have on you. With time each exercise will become easier to execute.

Lets start with an elliptical machine. The ellipticals you might see at the gym are very heavy duty. They are designed to withstand abuse all day long, and they come with a hefty price tag in the thousands. Although ellipticals for home use are not quite so heavy duty, they can offer you the same cardio workout in the $100-$400 range. But what about the space issue? If you are concerned about space, check out the Mini Elliptical Machine by Sunny Fitness. One model comes with handlebars that come up for balance.

In fact, we now know that at least some toxic ‘foods,’ like mucus-forming dairy products, actually ‘latch on’ to the exact same receptor cells in the brain as heroine and cocaine!

By listening to a subliminal download over and over again, it makes work out motivation easier to get. Subliminal messaging can change the way you think about working out. You start to think and feel differently about working out. Getting off the couch and working out becomes easier to do.
