Because of curiosity and my love of all things Internet related, more than three years ago I attended a bloggers’ get together. When asked if I had a blog, my answer was that “I do so much writing already, why would I ever need or enjoy creating a blog?” Since that memorable evening I read a few blogs, but still felt no desire to have one of my own. And then, it happened! I was bombarded by glowing reports of the importance of and marketing payoffs of having a blog.
So I remain with my hand raised on “hating blogs”. And I fully admit I continue to blog. The lesson that I have learned is that no web technology should be ignored when it becomes mainstay. If you are serious about adding credibility to your business then setting up a blog should also be part of the plan.
Blogs have become embedded in the collective psyche of the modern world as an acceptable medium of communication. It would be uncommon to find someone these days who do not know what a blog is all about?
In the business world as well as the personal world; blogging became a way to share information fast. The short inserts published were able to reach readers across the globe with the click of the mouse.
First, content is king. Although your layout may have some impact on your visitors, content is the most important part of your blog. You need to learn to write and write often so you are making money with blogs. After all, a true blog is really a weblog that tells the reader about something. While you may not be making money with blogs about your dating life alone, your blind-date escapades can draw in traffic to your site with the right kind of writing.
A weblog that I take pleasure in following let me realize that an airline company was supplying 75,000 bonus miles for signing up for any credit card. I was glad this blogger pointed it out, and I was happy to sign up for the solution by way of his link because I figured he really should get paid for letting me know about it. This is a great example of how do follow me make money.
Making it easier. Have Clients that love you but have trouble knowing what to say about you? Encourage them to send their friends and colleagues to your blog as a way to make the connection. That way they don’t have to feel like they have to say the perfect words about your business in order to give the referral.
So here is the real deal, fix your spiritual life before you go on a journey to fix any other area of your life. Didn’t Jesus say to first seek the kingdom and everything else shall be added? Where and how did we miss or forget that? Let’s get it right, fix your spirit. Plain and simple. We can beat around the bush another 30 years but in the end there it is again. The problem is in the spirit realm. Get in touch with your maker, make your peace with Him and get back to God Almighty. He has been waiting for you.
